BIO
"Daddy" Alex Whitmore shares the spotlight with his two stunningly beautiful daughters Eleanor and Bonnie. Both are exceptional musicians and singers, and this, along with their energetic delivery, keeps the audience spellbound. There is nothing quite so pleasant to the ears than three part "blood" harmony.
The Whitmore family has been performing together since the girls were very young. They only perform together these days on an occasional basis. Eleanor is making a living now as a full time environmental activist but is still in demand in the studio as well as band performances. She plays regularly with Susan Gibson and Slaid Cleaves. Bonnie, besides booking regularly with Alex as a duo, is also performing with the Shelley King Band and with Jamie Blythe as "Bonnie and Blythe" following in Dad’s footsteps and becoming quite a proficient song writer.
"Daddy and the Divas" won 2000 Terry Award for the Metroplex’s best trio.
